When going green I always say it’s best to start with deodorant. Conventional deodorants contain so many toxic chemicals that are not good for our bodies that can lead to health issues in the future. It may take some time to find natural deodorants that work for you. I’d say this experience is most similar to finding a new perfume. It has to complement your body’s natural scent. Here are 3 natural deodorants created by women running small businesses with a passion for holistic body care.
Evelyn Kay Club Deodorant
This natural deodorant is created by women for women. For every tube purchased one is donated to a women in need. I have been wearing this deodorant for a couple of weeks now and it works very well. It contains no aluminum, parabens, or synthetic addatives. The scent is very reminiscent of a Pina Cola. I think its due to the orange, lime, and grapefruit oil added. It is a always great when deodorants have a pleasant scent from nature not a synthetic fragrance. When I apply this deodorant in the morning after a shower I noticed that it lasts well throughout the day.
This product contains beeswax therefore it is not vegan.
I love when products have an aloe juice base. Its so soothing to the skin. The Earth Deodorant from Purpl Goat is all natural, and contains simple clean ingredients. It has a special antibacterial floral blend that fights bacteria while providing a luxury floral scent. This deodorant smells clean and earthy. I give my armpits a few sprays in the morning and reapply throughout the day if needed. I love the luxury smell of this one. The floral blend really lifts my mood.

Dark Under Arms? This all natural deodorant may be a good choice for you. It remains gentle and moisturizing while combatting odor and sweat. There are a lot of hyper pigmentation fighting ingredients such as organic raw shea butter , organic turmeric, and vitamin e. The organic cedar wood adds a really nice scent to the deodorant. Its scent is very similar to a fragrance I would wear as a perfume.
